Honeymoon in Sri Lanka

Yesterday Air Asia had their usual annual fair and i managed to grab 2 tickets to Sri Lanka. yes, is for our honeymoon after our wedding. we decided to go for our honey moon at Sri lanka, simply because we love the place and the nature in Sri Lanka. I can't wait. There are flights from Sri Lanka to Maldives too. Keeping our fingers cross. If we have extra, we will fly to Maldives from Sri Lanka. yeah, waiting... Anyway, i was waiting too long for the tickets. keep on putting me in waiting room. then, i got it.
then, this morning i got cheap tickets to KK,on nov to attend cheo's wedding. yeah, going for another wedding before my wedding. simply the best.

talking about Sri Lanka, i'm still searching for the places. Hopefully the beach is better than here. anyway, we are hopping for the best....

V-DAY Moment

I was very tired yesterday after work. reached home at 430pm. who says that teachers work half day. No way. I work almost 7 to 8 hours a day too. yesterday was Valentine's day. I did not plan anything because dear said that he will give me a surprise. I knew that we are going to dine in Taiping only and did not think of anything. so we went with the plan. I closed my eyes while he was driving coz he said it is a surprise. In my heart, i was thinking, Taiping Sentral only. where else to go in Taiping, right???? So i closed my eyes until i saw this (SSL Traders Hotel). we are getting married here by end of this year. So i was a bit surprised.

the waiter took us to the VIP room. Dear actually booked it a week before. So it is something very special for me.we got the flowers too. Love the decoration. this VIP room is limited to 10 couples only and it was almost fully book.

overall, i love the setting and the place. did not expect all these coming. and this will be our last Valentine celebration as gf/bf. next year will be our 1st valentine as married couple. Dear said, we will go somewhere else next year. And my birthday is coming soon.. Can't wait. it will be another surprise from him. Thanks dear.......

bridal house in Taiping

all right, i just went to one of the bridal house in Taiping to check out their package. Love them. Love the photos and the photographer was there too. we talked to her for a while and continue with the consultation. Yeah, i know that i have actually paid rm200 with LV, but we will change for something else there. pre engagement photo shoot with them. I signed up with SUB instead.

My package RM1988:
On photo shooting day:
-7 gowns (including traditional wear), from VIP to designer dresses
-coats for groom
-7 hair do for bride and touch up for groom
-unlimited shoot and if bring casual wear, is free
-make up, inclusive of everything. Don't have to pay anything.
-40 poses. Extra pose (can't reveal, coz she gave me a very special price. The cheapest ever)
- 1 big design album (20 pages)
-1 medium design album (20 pages)
- extra pose they will add another album free of charge. If i add 20 poses, i will get another album FOC.
- all poses in CD. the rest of the photos can get back for free after 6 months. Good deal yah...

Photo frame:
- 1 (20R) photo, wood frame.
- 1 (12 R) photo with wood frame.

Actual Day:
- make up and hair do (top up rm200, free for groom) My mother pays rm50 only.

- hand bouquet ( i will change this for something else)

- Bags. Really good design they have and can choose colour and style that i want.

photographer: Very friendly. talked to her just now and she gave me lots of idea.
sales girl/ consultant/make up artist: very helpful and she will help me to choose my dresses according to the location. New dresses coming in on March and she allows me to take the dresses FOC.

Our New Home.....

we checked on our new home and now, basically, waiting for the CF to move into the house. We can't wait and yet a lot of things to be done before we actually can move in. Don't worry, budget has been done by us. This will be our wedding home. Living together and have kids in the future.

this is the master bed room with attach bathroom and mini balcony. Plan to plant something there. We have 4 rooms in the house with 3 bathrooms.

Going to IKEA soon to get some mini furniture.BTW, home living fair is coming this April at KLCC. i will not miss the chance there.

Scrap Book

Since i'm going to move into my new home and getting hitch soon, i suddenly have the interest to make my own scrap book. My cousin just bought a book from Penang Island on making cards and scrapbook, imported book with hard cover. is only cost RM45.90. and im going to get one soon. If i'm an Art teacher, i will definitely teach my students to make one on each lesson, but sadly i'm not an Art Teacher and i guess my boss didn't trust my skill. well, i'm bad in drawing but i love to design stuff, especially to do with colour papers.

im planning how to start to do my scrap book. i might divide the scrapbooks into 3 to 4 different books. One for family and childhood photo, one for UNI and school life, One for wedding, and one for my friends. I'm so excited to do, but not until i get the book from Penang ISland plaza......

we just booked the venue yesterday. Ballroom. Got the date that we wanted. Happy! But now, focus on CNY. We just had lunch reunion and dinner reunion today. Very full. I got 2 angpows ready so far. Hehe. Can't wait for tomorrow. Hopefully, collection is good. Next year, we have to give angpows to others. I felt that the area is quiet this CNY. I dunno why.. MAybe most of them are not back to Taiping. well, anyway, im going off to Ipoh tomorrow night to meet up with my Uni mates. And wednesday another gathering with my girls and Thursday will be my cousin's wedding. So, is kinda fun for me here.

Finally, the date has been set. Pastor has confirmed the date for our wedding day. we really want to thank and praise God for all He has done for us. It was not an easy path at first, but He sees it all. Planning is going to start soon. My good/close girlfriends have confirmed to come and join us on this Holy Matrimony. Still a long way to go, but they are excited for me coz they will be walking down the aisle with me too. Thank you for everything. You know who you are!!!! Happy CNY.......

Now, we have to move into our new home first......................Is time to save more and spend less!!

This is what i need now. A holiday....... I'm so busy with my work now. You know, new year, new job. And moving in my new home, around March or April. A lot of work and budget to be done and also getting married by end of this year. More expenses and not to forget my MArch trip to Jogja and BAndung and June to Medan. Money, money... I can't spend a lot now, especially buying new clothes for chinese new year. Gotta save and save now....

Things That I wish i can do/have next year

Many things that i wish i can do this year, but sadly, we left 19 days to new year. and i wish that i can do/have it next year. Things that i really love:

Cruise. Yeah, never been to one and i always dream that i'm on the cruise and look at the sea, like Titanic movie and take lotsa of photos on the cruise. A short cruise will make me smile too...

Trip to Europe. Yeah, never been there too. Dear knows how much that i would like to travel to Europe one day, probably for a month backpacking trip will be good enough for me.

Rock Climbing: Never try that before. would love to try it next year.

Climb Mount Kinabalu. Still in my dream.

Trip to Hatyai with my gf......

as planned, we went to Hatyai on 25th November, Just the 3 of us. Fun. Girls' trip. I booked KTM train tickets from the internet and each one paid RM70 for return trip. we started from Taiping at 3am and we bought the sleeping berth. I took the lower berth because is easier for me. I slept along the way till Padang Besar. really tired...

Reached Padang Besar at 9am sharp and the train stopped there for 2 hours before it continued the journey to Hatyai. we had breakfast here as well.. Padang Besar station is the station to stamp passport and declare anything that you have.

an hour later, we reached Hatyai Railway Station and we walked to the hotel. Grand Plaza Hotel, next to Lee GArden. Cost us rm68 per night and we add rm20 per night for the extra bed because there were 3 of us. this is my 5th or 6th time to hatyai. After freshen up, we went to Lee GArden's food court for lunch. i ordered this meal for 50 bath. Is very tasty. I love the egg...

After lunch, we shopped for a while at Lee garden. den we went for massage at Sakura hotel which cost 240bath for 2 hours. I have been to this place many times and is one of my favourite place for massage in Hatyai.

after massage we went to the highest floor in Lee garden for buffet dinner. cost us 170bath and for your information, due to the flood in Thailand, the food in thai a bit limited especially the buffet part.

we went to the night market. Trade Market which newly open in 2008. The market only opens on wed to sun. the stuffs here are cheaper and trendy. lot of local people here.

after the night marker, we took tuk tuk back to our hotel and called it a day. tomorrow is going to be another long day., i dozed off once we reached the hotel. damn tired...

Next day we woke up at 930am. yeah... we took our breakfast inside the room and took tuk tuk to the big market. just for your info, this market tend to be famous with Malaysian so the seller usually will hike up the price. I found out that the night market actually sell cheaper things compare to the big market. so u be the judge and experience it yourself.

after lunch we took tuk tuk to Floating market. we bargained with the driver. we got 2 hours for 400bath. at first they wanted to charge us 500th bath.. i bargained with them.

weekend bazaar at LEE garden. only on sat and sun from 11am to 9pm. lots of handmade stuff. a bit pricey but things are special and nice. bought a pretty hair clip here. we shopped again before we walked to the station. got a few shirts for dear and myself.

on the last day we walked to the station to wait for KTM train. we saw the time wrongly and reached there 2 hours earlier. so i decided to walk into the Thai train and snap a few pictures. the train stopped there for hours. look at the classic train, is beautiful. i wish that we still have this in Malaysia. I took the same train in Kanchanaburi...

finally the ktm arrieved. took the train,. and reached Taiping at 145am, so it was 1 hour and 45 minutes late. as usual lah, KTM. Biar lambat asalkan selamat....we had a fun and great trip in HAtyai. best place for cheap shopping..

Is Dec 2011

is the final month of the year. and each year when December comes, i will be sad because it will be the final month of the year and i'm going to miss that year very much, hoping that it will stay there forever. well, 2011 has been a good or better year for me. well, everyone grows right??? and everyone changes right?? so do i. Work has been better this year and family is getting better too....what more can i ask? so what are your plans for the final month of the year?? for me.................

Trip to BALI!!!!!!! Omg, i can't wait. i bought the tickets like 10 months ago. Air Asia lah. everytime when they have sales, i will grab the tickets and this round i got myself 3 tickets to 3 different places in Indonesia. First round, Bali first. Everyone deserves a holiday, especially year end holidays. I read from The Star paper today and this particular topic really touched my heart. Teachers deserve a holiday!!!! I'm super loving it. I actually started my holidays weeks ago. first to Port Dickson with in law and last week i went to Hatyai with the girls. Yeah, no guys are allowed. And now i'm broke. So my plan to KL has to put on hold first till i have some cash. Den to Bali and hopefully after Bali i can do some mini shopping spree in KL to buy Christmas presents and clothes for CNY.

Ain't it sad to bid farewell to December. For me, yes, i'm sad because i love 2011 so much and every year i will say the same thing to the same year. sad to leave them.Anyway, life goes on and i'm preparing for major changes in my life next year, moving to new home and getting married. Is going to be something different and special to me. Let's appreciate December more, for now....

Kanchanaburi Thailand

We were supposed to take train from Chiang Mai to Bangkok, den from Bangkok take a bus to Kanchanaburi but the train cancelled due to some accident. So we took 10 hours night bus from Chiang Mai to Bangkok and reached Bangkok at 730am, the next day. I was very fresh, not sure about hubby as i took sleeping pill before i boarded the bus and slept along the way till Bangkok. First class bus. We had breakfast served on the bus too... Once we were in Bangkok bus station, we took another 3 hours bus to Kanchanaburi. We did not know that the bus is using old road instead of high way. anyway, good experience as i slept along the way.

Once we reached Kanchanaburi, we went to eat RM 1 chicken rice..yeah RM1 and we got shocked in our life. can you imagine, 2 plates of chicken rice and 2 coke cost us 40bath. We checked into our hotel/motel after that. rm40 per night and we stayed for 2 nights. our room is on a floating river facing the lake. beautiful.

River Kwai bridge. Beautiful. we rode our bike there and round the place. Small town, but they do have a very nice night market and a big Tesco or Lotus. We booked a trip to Erawan waterfall the next day for 680bath per pax which included the entrance fees which cost 200bath per pax, lunch, death railway and ride on the train for 30 minutes. the cheapest that we can get...

our driver came at 830am sharp and the journey to the Erawan National Park took us about an hour. Once we reached, our guide gave us 4 hours to spend. there are 7 tiers waterfall where we have to hike to each tier. it was not so bad for me as i'm used with hiking up the hill.. everyone was wearing sport shoes but i wore sleeper, and the guide said that i might fall later but i didn't coz i can hike better with sleeper, my rm2.90 sleeper from tesco...

after lunch we went to the death railway. you can read about the history from this place.. beautiful place...

we were there for an hour before the train came. i love the train. it was a 3rd class train without air cond. very classic inside and this train will go to Bangkok too.

after washing up, we went to steamboat for 99bath per person. eat all you can!!!!! cheap and we had massage after that and called it a day because we are going to Bangkok the next day...i will definitely come back to this place again whenever i visit Bangkok in the future. we miss our trip to Ayuthayaa due to the train....

My Life Recently

Item 1:
Just came back from 1 murid 1 sukan camp with my students at teluk batik. not bad, we spent 2 days in a 3 class hotel and i got the whole room by myself because the other 2 teaches went back to sleep at their home. Maklumlah, they are from Manjung and i'm from Taiping. Very relaxing camp and each one of us got a free t shirt too. good food and good stay there. room with astro tv and i bought food from 711 and eating it while watching Astro at night, all by myself.

Item 2:
Tomorrow will be a big gathering for the girls. Yin is getting married on Saturday in Penang. Some will fly, some will drive to Penang so i'm kinda excited for tomorrow. Dress checked, toiletries checked, heels checked, bag checked and make up checked. will leave to Penang right after school tomorrow. Will ask for permission to leave 15 minutes earlier tomorrow since i do not have class on the last period.yeah. will be having our hens night on sat night which is after the wedding ceremony. a bit weird but who cares. Let's enjoy life.

Item 3:
One more week of work and i'm off for 6 weeks. Having school annual dinner on 18 Nov at Lumut. 19-20nov in Port Dickson, 25-27nov in Hatyai, 30nov-7dec in KL and 16-20Dec in Bali. and there go my holidays for 6 weeks.

Item4:
Cousin is getting married next year January. First wedding among us. Excited. ANd tomorrow will be her registration day. 11/11/11.

Counting the days

I'm counting the days.. Holidays..Long holidays for me. 6 weeks off, get bonus and full pay. That's the joy of being an educator. All right, is not that i work as an educator just because of the pay during the holidays. Don't get me wrong. teaching is my passion since i was in Form 6. Some people always tell me that they are tired of teaching the same thing every year and even my students asked me once..." Cikgu tak jemu kah ajar benda yang sama untuk 30 tahun yang akan datang". Hehehe..Nope, not at all.. Because every year though im teaching the same thing, but i use different approaches and i'm teaching different set of students. So, i'm enjoying it.

I had been teaching for the past 3 years in rural school and if you ask me, i would prefer to teach in rural school. i do not mind to commute everyday from Taiping. Seriously. People have been telling me to transfer back to Taiping and so on, while maybe one day when i'm married and have kids. Let me enjoy in rural school. Town schools will be totally different leh...

Back to life. We had another get together at Lynn's house yesterday. Chin is back from the States, so i'm glad to meet her again.....

Kids nowadays need TV only.. Can keep them quiet...

i tried to take a few shots of the kids.. Wow, it was so difficult. they kept on moving here and there and i took a few here but everything blurred. i asked them not to move, but they still move.. anyway, let them enjoy...

the aunties and the kids.. we will have more kids in the future..soon and coming.....

I still have one month before my 7 weeks break from work. i can't wait and i make sure that i have all my plans during the 7 weeks holidays. here are the plans....

11-13 November: Penang (Yin's wedding)
19-20 November: Port Dickson (Charles's family trip)
25-27 November: Thailand
2-7 December: KL
16-20 December: Bali, Indonesia

I can't wait..but i need to clear all my work before the holidays, which i think i can do it....... I'm looking for saree and punjabi suit material now... headache lah....

I'm starting to get busy again. The month of October. PMR, travelling, book fair and dear's bday. Well this year we plan more for his birthday. Anyway, i'm going to KL tomorrow to meet Jessica again. We are going to the Big Bad Wolf book fair and also going to shop for my white dress., I need it for wedding. I hope i can get to buy my favourite books. I have listed down what i'm going to buy there. So, i'm kinda busy too.. Just came back to work today as i was invigilating at Ayer Tawar school. today we get a day off and continue on Monday. Later. i'm going off to KL by myself... so here are the plans..

Day 2: Chiang Rai-Golden Triangle- Maesai- Karen Long Neck Tribe

Our second day. I was excited actually. Pick up time at 7am.. 7AM!!!! freaking early for me. anyway i woke up at 6am, took my shower and had breakfast downstairs at the lobby. A simple breakfast of Milo and toast for us. I had my stomach problem as usual. Toilet problem, so i make sure that i go to toilet first. Hehe. the van came sharp at 7am and we were in this big van with the other 9 people. Our guide was very friendly and the next stop will be after an hour. We reached this Hot Spring. Man, the weather is so cold and a bit drizzling at that moment. August might not be the best time to visit Chiang Mai as it is the wettest time. but thank God, when we were there, there were no heavy rain at all. The weather here is like our Cameron weather or cooler. i love the weather.
there were a few girls selling eggs so that you can boil the eggs here.. no thanks.. i was very hungry and needed something to eat. So we went to a small cafe near the hot spring and dear bought a bun for me, requested by me. Nice and not so cheap as well..

this is our tour guide.. very funny. he drew his won map for us to show us where we are heading to next. thanks to him but he is a very strict person too. you must be on time because there were two girls who came late and i heard him scolded them..

After 1.5 hour of drive, we reached White Temple. Very bright and you must bring your sunglasses along. Free admission. when you go into the temple, you must walk straight, no turning back.

Next one hour was Golden Triangle.. Imagine that the guide told us that our lunch will be at 2pm. I was freaking hungry ready. I need to eat something. Luckily our package included the boat ride at the golden triangle. There were a few of them in our tour who had to pay 300bath for the boat ride because it was not in their package. The guide told them that they can either stay there or pay and join the ride. Is optional. Be careful when you choose or buy the tour package. Always include all this because you will have nothing to do when they go for the 1.5 hour boat ride. No jokes.!!!!!!!

Myanmar Casino. You just pay 500 bath for visa and you can go in and try your luck there...

the boat stopped for half an hour at Laos. we had to pay 20 bath to enter. nothing much here except for some shops selling fakes branded bags. Not interested.

This tour guide showed us the TIGER COCK, where the Laos people make wine with it. There are also scorpion and snakes. Is free to try. the wine is to boost the men energy. My dear tried it anyway, and nothing happened.

while he was testing the wine, i sneaked out from the shop and took a few photos of the Laos's children playing some games. I used to play this when i was young. they look so happy here.

Lots of fake branded bags. I was trying a bracelet at one of the shop. You know what, i broke the bracelet when i was taking it out.. Sigh.. i had to pay her.. Bargained with her and paid her 100bath for the broken bracelet.

we went back to the boat. A few of the children were asking for money, like 5 bath, 10 bath....pity them leh....

we had buffet lunch after that. really good... after that we went to Mae Sai, border of Myanmar. This is the boarder. You pay 500bath for visa. Malaysian needs Visa yah.

we walked around the shops and did not buy anything because everything we can get in Chiang Mai and is cheaper. We walked around there.

After 40 minutes we reached the final destination, The Karen Hill Tribe.

Before you go to the Karen Tribe, you will see other 2 tribes there as well.. Don't buy anything there unless you want to donate something to them. The same scarf that i bought from Chiang Mai cost 250 bath here.

This is the way to the Karen Hill Tribe. And again, make sure that the fees of 300bath is included in your tour. When we were there, there a few in our group wanted to go in and they had to pay 300 bath. for us, all in our package.

Anyway you can read more about the Karen Tribe from the net. the tribe that i visited, there are from Myanmar and not Thai citizen. They will not go out from the village. we reached Chiang Mai at 9pm and asked the guide to drop us at the bazaar. we rented a bike for 150bath for 24 hours. very cheap. we will be going to Chiang Mai zoo and Doi Suthep tomorrow with the bike. Day 1: Hatyai to Chiang Mai

We were very excited. After work, i did not get any sleep because my next bus to Ipoh was at 530pm, last bus. We took the bus to Ipoh and reached Ipoh at 7pm. Evelyn fetched us from the station and we headed to Momo Cafe at Jusco area. Vanes, joined us after that. At 10pm, Evelyn sent us to Medan Gopeng to catch our mid night bus to Hatyai. we waited there for almost 2 hours, freaking long, with mosquitoes too.Bus came on time from KL. Thank God.

I think the driver from bus Kesatuan drove quiet fast. I dozed off right after that and after less than 3 hours we almost reached Changlon. Miracle man. That's fast. Thank God that the border did not jam at all and we reached Hatyai at 8am (thai Time). We walked to Lee Garden where we bought Konsortium Bus ticket for our return to taiping on 1st Sept.

As usual, Lee Garden buffet breakfast is one of my favourite. they increased the price. The breakfast cost us RM12 per pax. Eat all you want. After breakfast we walked to railway station where we bought our train ticket from Chiang Mai to Bangkok which cost less than Rm 60 per person. The train was cancelled on the actual date, which i will tell you why. But we got the full refund.
Dear bought the tickets.

while dear was buying the tickets, i went to the track and went inside this train and took some pictures. amazing, i love the seat, i think is a third class seat train. is really clean and the train stopped there for a while. I dared myself to go up alone and took some pictures.

we took a cab to Hatyai Airport which cost us RM30 per cab. is about 20 minutes drive from the town.you can choose a cheaper way. I don't know where to wait for a van to airport. i only know where the van will stop the passenger from airport to town. It only cost RM8 per person. i took that van when i return from the airport. You can ask around. The people there are very friendly. But, don't ask the cab's driver, of course.

our flight to Chiang mai took us more than 2 hours. We reached the airport and took a can to our hotel. The cab cost RM12 only. Freaking cheap. Our hotel Mitrapap Hotel which i booked from Agoda, cost us RM44 per night including tax. You can get RM33 per night which i wanted to book at first. Is the same with the RM44 room but is smaller a bit. Anyway, we put up for 2 nights here. Amazing hotel. Near Tapae Gate, Night Bazaar. we walked to the places on the first day.

The famous Tapae Gate. Dear was checking a few tour agencies opposite the gate and i decided to sneak out from the tour offices and took some pictures. We got an amazing and cheap tour to Chiang Rai and Golden Triangle after a few stop. A day tour to Chaing Rai,Hot spring,White temple, Mae sai (Myanmar Border), karen tribe, Huang Tribe and Golden Triangle(Thailand, Loas and Myanmar) only cost Rm110 (1100 batt) per person which including the fees of (300 batt) into Karen Tribe and boat ride (300 batt). So is rather very cheap because we asked the first few and they charged us RM140 including all the fees and some RM120 not including the fees. So look around and don't make decision too fast. The tour will start at 7am till 9pm...

i was so hungry and wanted to eat local food and the tour guide asked us to walk down a few shops and try the food there. we found the place and it was rather cheap too. we ordered a few dishes. The food in Thailand is rather sweet. but i like it.
After dinner we went massage. Foot massage which cost us RM20 per person. I can't remember the name of the place but it is very good and we came back on the last day when we were in Chiang mai. If i'm back there i will definitely go back to the place for sure.

too many tourist here. i bought 2 shawl. one for me and one for mom. I choosed to buy from older female seller because i can bargain more from them. I got the shawl for RM10/one (after my hard work of bargaining).You can get cheaper scarf such as 1 for 69 batt or 3 for 100batt but the quality is not good. You can still have it anyway. we walked back to the hotel and got ready for our next day tour to chiang rai. wait for my next blog yah. I rather busy now because my students will be taking their PMR exam soon and i'm preparing lots of questions from other states. So lots of report and planning too. Thanks for reading.

I'm Back

Phew, i'm back from my holidays. Feel so nice and great. been to a few places and plans got changed there, due to the weather, yeah, my train from Chiang Mai to bangkok cancelled when we got there at the station, so our plan changed. we went to the bus station right after that and took first class bus to bangkok for 10 hours, reached there at 7am. den another bus to Kanchanaburi. Love the Erawan waterfall, i will blog more after this about my each trip in Thailand.

Total expenditure??? All right, not much for the 7 days back packing.

RM780 per person which included ( Food, 2 nights stay in Kanchanaburi, tour to Chiang Rai and Golden triangle, Tour to Erawan and Death Railway, 6 different massages, bus ( from ipoh to Hatyai, from Chiang Mai to Bangkok, from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi, from Hatyai to Taiping), airport transfer,cab, van (from Kanchanaburi to Bangkok) and tuk tuk) for 7 days.

Can you imagine that, how cheap is Thailand. We even had chicken rice for RM1 in kanchanaburi.. we were like RM1 chicken rice???? Wow!!! Such a blessing. anyway, i'm back to work, lots of work and will blog about my trip when i'm free....Cheers!!!!!

I Wanna have a break time

Work and work.That's all i can say. Been working for 2 days but feel like 7 days. Anyway, tomorow i'm off, public holiday. But wait, is not a holiday for me too. I have to work for someone, no wages at all. Sigh, but i'm glad that i can help. Wrapping hampers. skill which i'm not good at but i'm going to give it a try. I tried a few last year and turned out not bad, maybe can get a C- but this year i'm going to make it B-, at least lah, den next year B+ and another year i will make it A.

I have done most of my work. Probably coz i'm going off for a week to Thailand and i need to finish up my work as soon as possible. I'm not going to bring back my work home and do it during my holidays, no way. Test papers check, key in marks check, record book check and wrapping gifts for English carnival, not yet.

Anyway, my holiday plans have been sorted out and i just can't wait, that's all. Going to start packing my clothes tomorrow, yah, a week earlier, but i don't like last minute packing like i used to do. Less clothes, no make up, a pair of good sleeper and light travelling for this time. i'm going to bring my 55L backpack for this 7 days backpacking trip to Thailand.

I Broke my Heel

Today i broke my heel and sleeper at school. What a bad day for me. I walked to the canteen and it broke when i was there. i was like, how? how? how? Thank God that i have a sleeper in the staff room. i was very happy. Then, half way, my sleeper string broke..again...now i'm without shoes and sleeper. I borrowed from another teacher.
i dont think that i can repair the heel anymore...time to buy new one. Bonus coming anyway....

I bought this yesterday..not me, hubby bought for me coz i broke my digital camera's screen during my school sport day. how sad and happy coz i got a new one. Ok, Choosing a camera was not easy at first. Then i checked online, asked around coz DSLR is definitely not for me. need to buy lens which i will not buy, so semi pro camera is a better choice for me. This Nikon Coolpix L120 is not expensive. I got it for RM820. 14M, 21x zoom, HD movie, lots of functions which i'm still exploring them. Free 8GB memory card.

i was testing the camera at home today.i actually did a video of my room using this camera. not bad but i need to practice more on the functions. i'm using this for my back packing trip to Thailand. can't wait. anyway this is my favourite function in the camera. (look below)

I did this before with my first digital camera in 2008 when i visited Angkor Wat then. i jumped around and the photos turned out nice... im doing this again...

I'm Busy Planning

Hello, How are you??? For the past few weeks i had been busy searching and planning for my backpacking trip with hubby to Thailand. I'm depending on my Lonely Planet Book as well. Well, after lots of time being spent to explore from the internet and emailing the people in Thailand, we have decided to back packing to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Ayuthayaa, Kanchanaburi, Bangkok and Hatyai.All these places in 7 days. we will be flying from Hatyai to Chiang Mai with Air Asia. Den taking a train from Chaing Mai to Ayuthayaa, then bus from there to Kanchanaburi, train to Bangkok and lastly flight from bangkok to Hatyai which we bought at a very cheap price from NOK Air, free 15kg checked in luggage for 2 passengers. Great deal. At this moment, i'm still looking for hotels from Agoda and i have confirmed our stay at Kanchanaburi for two nights which cost us RM80 for 2 nights. Very cheap and we will get a raft room facing the river. It is going to be awesome back packing trip.

many people asked me, why not just take a tour from malaysia and visit all these places. Well, i know that it will save me a lot of time, but with tour, you will not enjoy. i have done it in Bangkok 2 years ago. trust me, not fun at all. After the Bangkok trip in 2009, i decided not to take anymore tour from Malaysia, unless it is a ground tour where you can decide when you reach the place. i want to walk on my own and for this coming trip, i will be cycling around Ayuthayya to visit all the Wat which is now under UNESCO. is going to be fun and not to forget that we will visit Erawan National Park in Kanchanaburi. I can't wait for that. National Park...is fun. 7 tiers waterfall. i'm going to make it there...Going to hike up no matter what. all the way here just to see the waterfall, sounds crazy.

anyway, will update more on the planning soon. is fun....
Tips to get the best room with the lowest rate:
1) when you book a room through email or Agoda, inform the hotel's management that you are on honeymoon and request for the best room for the rate you pay.
2) always ask for rooms which are not facing the roads, always ask and inform them. No harm.

Today, im planning to buy the lotion. i tested the lotion from my friend at work place and it moisturizes very well on my skin. should get one today.

So much of work yet work is work and need to be done by today. I'm keeping my fingers cross. well, our gathering in KL sort of have decided the date and i can't wait to go there again, to meet up. Sad that this time Pei will not be with us. Waiting for Pei to come back before Yin's wedding in November. I just need some break from Taiping. I need to go around and meet up with friends. Can't be always staying at home, work and church. Is kinda meaningless if i keep on doing the same thing again and again.

I broke my camera. Yes, i broke it before my Sarawak trip. The screen went blank but still can be used. Is just that i can't see what i'm taking, but when i upload in my netbook the photos are all in. Miracle but i really have to use my sense now. Will be getting my new camera by end of this month for my Bangkok and ChiangMai trip during the Raya holidays. Thinking of getting something cheaper which cost less than 1k, probably Nikon Coolpix L120. Not bad.

My new home with hubby will be ready by this December, as the developer promised us. Can't wait to move into the new home that we bought. It may be small, but the relationship and communication are more important than the big home.Perhaps i can buy some decoration stuff when i travel to Bali this december. My friends told me that in Bali, there will be a lot of nice and cheaper things to buy, especially for home. Not a bad idea yah. Anyway, we are hopping for the best and surrender everything to God.

Many people have been asking me when is my Big day. well, i can't confirm yet, coz we want to get the house ready, den only we will decide on the big day thing. Most important is to get ready for marriage, especially settle things such as the feelings, hurts and counselling before marriage which is to prepare more and talk more about issues that we are not happy about and the understanding of each other. I feel that it is very important to settle out the issues first.

Penang Hill

My initial plan was to go KL last week, but due to the Bersih i decided to take a break with hubby to Penang. Since he haven't been to Penang Hill, i decided to take him up there and try the new train. This is my third time up the hill. We reached Penang at 3pm and decided to have lunch near Sungai dua. Then we drove to the foot hill. The cost is RM8 per person and RM30 for foreigner. we waited for 10 minutes and went into the train. it is fully air con and it took less than 3 minutes to reach the top hill.. so much difference. A lot of visitors from Middle East.

Dear was so excited when we reached the top, i guess this is due to his first time at Penang Hill. the weather is cooler and we just love it. we walked and walked and walked. We took photos along the way with my broken camera.

after spending almost 2 hours uphill, we decided to go back because we have booked a dinner for 2 at Bystroe at Jalan Burma. i purchased the voucher via mydeal.com. you can check the website as they have different offer everyday including holidays, massage, medicure, food and fitness. there are more website such as everyday deals, milkadeal, coupons. we paid rm28 for 2 pax for 3 course meals. is a great deal.

we had fruit juice and dessert as well. all in the RM28 that we paid. cheap and most of the food are home made and if you have one hour plus time to spend at the bystroe, then you can go. they even have boutique up there which i did not go up. i got the RM25 voucher free for the clothes and i did not buy too.. guess i just want to save some money here. we went to Feringgi after that. then i drove back to Taiping coz hubby was very sleep and he needed to work the next day while i had my off day on Monday.

Bako National Park, Kuching

Bako is the oldest national park in Sarawak. Since i have bought my ticket from Air Asia 5 months ago, for RM70 (return), we decided to go Bako. We took Yoyo bus from Taiping to LCCT which cost us RM53 one way, per pax, not cheap but convenient. reached LCCT at 630am and went for breakfast at one of the stall, outside LCCt building. RM2.50 for nasi lemak which is consider cheap in LCCT. Since 1st May, Air Asia started the self checked in at the terminal for domestic flight and we self checked in at the airport. very convenient too.

once we reached kuching, we went for lunch at the airport and bought the taxi voucher to Kampung Bako for rm53. if you take kuching rapid from Kuching, you have to take a cab to kuching and take the bus from there. we figured out that a cab straight to bako is the best option. out cab's driver is a lady.. first time for me. very friendly.

the journey took 45 minutes to bako from airport. we checked in at the counter and shared a boat with another 2 ladies, so is cheaper.. one boat cost rm47 can fit to 6 people. if you share, you pay less.

we reached Kampung Bako..i asked the Kampung people what time is the next rapid Kuching and they were very helpful. bus came 10 minutes after that and it cost RM3.50 per person and took us about an hour to reach the city, depending on where you stop. BTW, this bus go to Kubah national park too which is the last stop...

after checking in the hotel, we stopped by this shop to buy tissue coz dear was having running nose and i took this photo because it reminded me of my childhood time, during those days in Taiping where most of the shop keeper using a container and hang on the top to put money. how classic...

in the morning we decided to take a boat cross to the other land to visit Fort Margarita, It cost rm0.50 per way/pax. very challenging coz i almost overturn the whole boat and this uncle got a shock in his life. this is rejang river...

we did not do much on the last day coz we felt that nothing much in kuching city...the national park is more interesting to me. we took breakfast, den back to the hotel, bath, packed and took a cab to airport though our flight is at 4pm. we reach airport at 1230 noon and took our lunch at the airport. we paid rm26 for the cab, is standard price. we checked in and went into the waiting room, though we were 3 hours early. hang out at coffee bean in the waiting room.. once we reached LCCT, we took yoyo back to Taiping and the next day, i went to work..how sleepy... anyway, we had a great time in Sarawak though it was only 3 days trip. we plan to go MULU the next time we are in Sarawak.

My Hometown, Taiping

After returning from KL with Jess, my childhood friend,(20 years of friendship) decided to explore our own hometown, Taiping for the next few days while she was still in Taiping. We visited Taiping galleria which was newly open last month. Anyway, Jess's mom is working there, so no problem, The ticket is RM5, per person.

This galleria is different from museum. We were not allow to go in on our own. There was a tour guide for us. we waited for 20 minutes for the first group to finish the tour. we went inside and our tour guide explained everything to us about the History Of Taiping, which i had never heard of it before. Very interesting.

we went for lunch and hang out at Starbucks for a few hours and left. we had a great time hanging out with each other.

we went to Taiping Musuem too.. Nothing special here, Nothing about the history of Taiping, at all. they should do something about it. what we saw was something which had been there since 20 years ago, like the animals and plants, They need to upgrade the museum.

we had a great day. We went for 3D movie after that at Taiping Centre. Kung Fu Panda 2. nice movie. Will see her again, hopefully next month in KL where we will try the hop on and off bus in KL..can't wait for that. See yah girl....

Why I Love My Job

Believe it or not? I'm a kind of person who prefers relaxing lifestyle. I hate air pollution, streets full with cars, noise and stress. I choose to do something that i like especially my job. A lot of people, especially close friends been telling me how stressful they are at work, facing computer for ten hours, pressure from boss, competing with their workmate and more, while me, nothing to complain about, not even the 100km journey i'm driving to work everyday. That's why i love my job..

I was in KL last week for a few days, visiting my childhood friend, Jessica and spent time with her in KL. we came back together to Taiping after her class at Taylor. I told her that my skin had breakouts, oily and my hair is oily. She said, yes, KL is like that. even for today, after a week i came back, i still have the breakouts and trying to do mask, facial and wash my face and i hope that it will be gone by the time i go back to work on Monday.

Let me tell you why i love my job.... Every morning when i drive to school, 50km to reach my work place, i switch off the car air con. I open the window and get fresh air from outside, and no pollution at all. fresh air. when i reach school, i go to classes, check my time table for today classes, write my lesson plan and mark some books. Then i go for breakfast and drink a cup of coffee. School ends at 230pm and 1215 noon on Friday so is half day work for me. I don't bring back my work because i will finish everything before i leave the school. We don't teach 8 hours when we work. one week i teach 24X40 minutes =960 minutes =16 hours. so you can imagine that the rest of the time i do my other work so that i don't waste my time. each day teaching is about 3.2 hours only. we can rest anytime we want when we are free. Love my job now???

i reach home at 330pm, provides no meeting. Then, sleep, watch tv and hang out. At night i sleep in between 10pm to midnight. so, no stress, no pressure from boss, no date line, and the best part, i'm the boss in the classroom. and i have long holidays. Do you love your job?

Living in Malaysia, is summer whole year. I don't expect more than that. Raining season, check. Yesterday was freaking hot. So hot. I woke up sweating in the evening. Not good for me. as i went out to Tesco to get some stuff, i dug my wardrobe and searched for short pants.. how i long for short pants for the past few days. i was sweating in Tesco.. Can you imagine that???

So as for now, i need to get more short pants and cotton top, prefer short and sleeveless.. been ages since i last wore those clothes. as now, my attire is to sleep, to shop and to church. Dresses are the best for all. Jeans, gotta kick them out.

so do you love the weather in malaysia??? I love it, as long as is not too hot for me... Is Mother's Day tomorrow..don't forget yah....do something special for your mother...

He Can Do Miracle

I just want to share a testimonial here regarding of my work. I just passed my Induksi a month ago and in order to get confirmation from the government, i need to get a letter from government regarding on my safety issue in the country...yeah, everyone has to go through it.i sent the letter a year ago and until today i haven't got a reply from them.Last month, after getting my result that i passed in my induksi, the clerk supposed to send all my documents to Putrajaya for my confirmation. unfortunately, they told me that they have not receive any letter regarding the safety issue from government and they can't confirm me. i was so freak out that why government needs one year to send to reply letter back to me. i was not in a good mood and i know that in order to make things right, i cannot be in that mood.

last week as i attended the night meeting, i prayed and surrender everything to God. i told god that by next week, which means this week i will get a reply from them. i trust in HIM. and u know what??? Today as i went to the office and asked the clerk about the letter, she told me that she just called them and they informed her that i don't need to wait for the letter anymore. they can send my confirmation documents to Putrajaya as soon as possible... Well, Praise God..He knew everything better than me, of course and thank you Lord..Trust in Him..He will do greater things that we cannot imagine...

Taking Care Of him

I was so happy on Friday that i don't have to go to work on Monday, which means that 3 days off. Friday, after attending the meeting at night, we went back. early in the morning as i woke up, suddenly, dear said that he was not feeling well. he supposed to get up and open the shop. i touched his forehead and hand, OMG!!!! It was so hot, really hot that you can boil water on it. he said " I'm very cold" I quickly took a towel soaked with water and put on his forehead. You know like your mom did to you when you were young, having fever. I did not know what to do, just thought of the towel. And in fact this was the first time that i actually taking care of someone who is sick.

I put the tower on his forehead, neck and face. freaking hot. i changed the towel a few times. Then, dear said that he needs a doctor..Ok, i put him in my car and drove him to ........hospital..all clinics still closed at 7am. after taking the medicines, we went back home and he rested until 5pm. i bought bi hun soup along the way. during the 7 hours of his sleep, i went to the room, check his temperature and it was still hot, then i called his mom, telling her that dear still sick. we were supposed to attend Shyju conference meeting on that day. His mom and sis went, i did not go. i better stayed at home and took care of him. After 5pm, i assumed that the meeting was over, his mom called again and i said that he is still having high fever. then his mom and sister came over to visit him. His mom prayed for him and said that will take him to see another doctor at 7pm. Thank God, after the jab from doctor suddenly he is ok..miracle and also after his mom left, he felt better.. Powerful prayer!!!!

well, i did not complain at all that i had to take care of him for 24 hours or so. i feel happy indeed that i was given a chance to take of someone that i love. i was never given a chance before. Im going to learn more as i will have children in the future and i have to take care of them.

Knowing and Drawing to Him

i attended a special meeting conducted by Shyju Matthews in Taiping last night. in fact the meeting was 3 nights at different churches and i only attended 2 meetings. Last night as he was praying for me and dear, he confirmed the words which we heard before. he was just God's messenger and to confirm the words to us. We need to seek the Lord separately until He pleases with us, then we will be united as one. There will be the time where 90% of the income will go to the Lord and 10% will be for us. Lord, we trust in You. Let Your will be done. we are your faithful servants.

actually dear was talking to Shyju as i was in the wash room. when i came out he just asked dear who is this? And dear said that" this is my gf". are u planning to get married? "yes" dear said..then he said" let me pray for both of you". i felt the strong anointing from the Lord as he prayed and proposied on us. a lot of confirmation regarding dear's business and our life. Lord, thank you for the confirmation of the words, we will seek you individualy until it pleases You.

as i was reading God's words today, the same words again. Get in tune with God and His will and it will be succesful.

I tried the toner and bought it once i reached taiping.. wow, is really great. i was using Amway toner and range now but the result is the same with simple brand. and simple brand is cheaper than amway. Im currently using the second bottle Toner from Simple with each bottle is 200ml. just imagine how fast i can finish up the whole bottle and next month im going to get my 3rd bottle of toner from simple. i bought it at RM12.90
I bought the moisturiser last week at RM19.90. just used for the past few days..the result, my skin looks great and is not oily.. my beautician has been complaining about my oily face and she asked me to change my old moisturiser and i did...

the facial scrub is simple marvelous. the seeds are not rough and it helps to clean my nose...

and last but not least, i'm going to buy this one soon....my cleanser is going to finish, currently im using amway and im going to change to this brand by this week... Thank you Simple!!!!!

Ho Chi Minh trip 16-20 April 2011

Let me start by telling you about my trip to Ho Chi Minh with hubby last week. we started our journey from taiping to Ipoh and took ETS train to KL. we stayed a night at YMCA because is the closest hotel to KL Central and it was easier for us to go to airport in the morning. we paid RM98 for a night with breakfast but we did not take the breakfast because we had to go to airport at 630am. Just imagine that.

we walked around Briekfields street and enjoyed the Indian Food there. that was my first time there actually.

at night we went for massage coz i had back ache for the past few days. we went to this place where we were massaged by the blind. very good experience. it cost us rm40 for one hour and located behind the KL Central Monorail. they have a few shops doing the same concept. you should try one.

i bought these 2 magazines from KL to accompany me during my flights to HCMC.

our breakfast in LCCT..cheap and i think is a new stall near the men toilet.

we reached HCMC airport at 10am. we took a cab to our hotel which cost us USD 8 which is consider cheap.

our hotel room. i booked this hotel Hoang lien from agoda.com and we paid RM250 for 3 nights including breakfast. it has a big bath tub in the toilet and more than 50 channels to watch.. worth it.

the staff are friendly and one of them lost my air ticket but she was very helpful to help me to print back the ticket but failed coz the computer could not open my yahoo mail.. not even can log into Facebook. i heard the tour guide told me that they want to minimize the usage of Facebook in Vietnam.

after checking in the hotel, the hotel gave us a map and we walked around HCMc..guess how far??? 20 km and 8 hours.. yes we left the hotel after checking in and came back 8 hours later. we visited many places.. we just walked...

one thing that is interesting about HCMC is the traffic.. they have 6.5 millions bike on the road, only in HCMC. you can just imagine that. we did not know how to cross the road but at last we learnt ther trick.. just go and the bikes will avoid you. that's all.

we went to this place for lunch. our first lunch in HCMC. i read the review about this restaurant and decided to try it. good food, lots of people.. and not expensive.

our lunch, 2 main dish, chicken wings and 3 drinks cost us rm28.

our first stop after lunch, a museum, seriously, i cant remember the name of the museum. we paid 10000 dong for one person for the entry.

our second stop was the reunification palace. it is the president resident area during those days. we paid 15000 dong per person. this place is interesting.

next stop, the cathedral. the famous catholic church in HCMC. free admission and ypu can join their mass as well.

In HCMC, they have lots of Lonely Planet around the world. they sell at the road side, of course they are fake one but can be used. we bought 3 lonely planet, Bali, malaysia and Thailand for 10usd. you must bargain with them..really bargain...

on the second day, we booked a half day tour to Chu Chi tunnel for 6usd per person. they tour started at 830am and finished at 230pm. worth it. the place is 90 minutes away from HCMC. so with 6usd, plus tour and transportation, is really cheap..

try to fit into the hole. kinda small....

let me tell you something about this tunne;l. during the civil war with american during 1970, most Vietnamese stayed in this tunnel, is 200 km tunnel, with more than 10000 people living in the tunnel. there are 3 sections in the tunnel and we went to the 2metres down the tunnel. really hot and warm, imagine they lived here for 14 years plus. they cooked, slept and did their business in the tunnel.

after the tour, the tour guide brought us back to HCMC. they dropped us at war Remnant museum, which we paid 15000 dong per person.

i did not take a lot of pictures in this museum....it was full with dead people pictures and i dont think is right to take those pictures and uploaded in internet. half way, i almost cried. you can just imagine that.

on the second night, we explored the backpacker area..nothing special unless if you want to hang out at pub and have drinks. is more to Mat Salleh place...

the next day, we went to Banthean market. the famous market in HCMC.. lots of things to buy....i bought 2 bags here and a few shirt.....

on our last night there, we went to the ship for dinner. if you booked from hotel, it will cost USD28 per person but thank God that we did not book from the hotel. we went on our own. they ship will be at the dock at 630pm, you can go up and they will go around the Mekong river at 830pm to 930pm. the best part, you ordered what ever you want to eat and just paid for what you have ordered.
we ordered one coconut drink, one seafood salad, one fried rice and one plate of spagetti..big portion.... and we paid RM60 for all....

we were one of the first on the ship and we got the best view..the front ship and the table for 2 people only. very romantic dinner.

on the last day we checked out at 6pm, paid another half for the room. we walked around the market and ordered food. we ate a lot and packed 2 cheese cakes home, or to the airport.

we left the hotel at 6pm and it was very jammed. our flight was at 910pm and it was still early..we were inside the car when the cab tried to cross..i just dunno how he was going to cross....we paid USD9 for the ride due to the jam...

we reached LCCT at 12 mid night and spent 5 hours at Coffee bean. we took the bus to KL Central and bought 2 train tickets to Taiping. the train was at 8am and we ate Mcdonald Breakfast. we paid rm56 for both tickets, second class seat.

love the train ride and reached Taiping at 1pm. hubby's dad picked us up. i went to bed once i reached home...super tired and took a day off on that day...we enjoyed the trip..looking forward to out Kuching trip this coming July and back packing trip to Bangkok and Chiang Mai this coming Raya Holidays... we just can't wait.... for this trip we paid RM1500 for 2 pax including all the hotels, expenditure in KL and HCMC until the train ride to taiping..not sure is cheap or expensive.....but for us, is Ok!!!!!!

take a break

Finally, after all the trips and walking and i can finally take a break here. Back to work was not easy after holiday, tell me that hah!!!! i was sleepy all the time, no energy but work is work and i have to teach after all...

Today will be going to Butterworth again. i guess i make more trips up to Butterworth these days. today will be celebrating Mom in law bday there...Can't remember how old is she now but i guess almost the same with my mom.

Hubby and me had a great time in Ho Chi Minh, i will blog about my trip when im free because i need a lot of time to sort out the pictures as well.... we planned to go bag packing to bangkok and Chiang mai during the Raya holidays..this time we will be taking the 20 hours train from Butterworth to bangkok, then 12 hours train to Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai and den take a train back to Bangkok and to Butterworth. I guess lot of travelling on the train but i have checked the train and we will pick the night train, safe some money on hotel and travelling time right??? I just can't wait for the trip. and this July, we are flying to Kuching to visit the National Park. i guess, we are back to Nature...

Hubby said that i had improved a lot in my travelling skill since we started 2 years ago. i had more energy now to walk, imagine that we walked for 20 km on the first day we were in Ho Chi Minh...we just walked and visited places, walked and walked. indeed we did not take any cab except to airport and from airport. that's all... we walked to the ship, markets, museums and park in HCMC..exciting and we will definitely come back here one day to make a trip to Dalat and Mui Nee... nice places to visit...well, i will share more about my trip when i have time.. Is easter tomorrow and i have something to do with the children tomorrow..i better prepare now... see yah all...

enjoying my days here with hubby.. today will be our last day here in saigon and flying back at 910pm and will reach KL at 1200 mid night. we had a blast time here and the people are very friendly. we love them. we walked for almost or more than 20km on the first day we reach saigon. we explored the city on our own.. our own gps is the map.last night we had a great time at the cruise boat. cheap and had a romantic dinner there... we wish that we will stay here longer but we have to go back to work soon..how i miss holidays... the hotel is great and comfortable and i got it 3 nights for RM250. big room with a big bath tub and big tv with more than 50 channels to watch...

anyway, see you guys very soon when im back here.....Back to work on Thursday.....see yah..

Another gathering with ECF Sabah

after my trip to cameron highlands, i went straight to KL to meet up with my Sabah's friends. i mean my UNI church friends in sabah. we had a great time together and also attended Rachel's wedding in KL. we took lots of pictures but im lazy to post everything here... Thanks andwer lee for lending us his glasses. we had a great time taking each one photo with the glasses.

After a week

One week just gone like that. very fast. i came back from cameron and KL. it looks like 2 days ago only, but no, a week plus. im counting the days where im going to Ho Chi Minh in ten days from today. Im so excited. have booked the tickets, hotels and looking for tours in Saigon. Last week, hubby hurt-ed his ankle while playing badminton with me. we went cycling and decided to play badminton too. but he is fine. of course when i asked him everytime, he will say, you are here with me, of course im fine..that's sweet!!!!....

school has been very busy, lots of preparation and also income tax this month, haven't filled in anything yet. getting the receipts together. going to get rebates as much as i can.

after using the Loreal foundation which i recently purchased, i can say that it is really good. i did not use concealer at all when i applied the foundation. it covered all my small pimpers on my face and is not oily at all.

I got a surprised birthday present on April Fool Day. Thank you dear...

Birthday Celebration at Cameron

Last week was my birthday and i took 2 days off, to Cameron Highlands with hubby, den to KL for Rachel's wedding. every year, i will celebrate my birthday here, like it or not, i want to come here. i love the weather, place and food. we started our journey from taiping at 9am and reached Ipoh at 10am, went to KTM to buy my train's tickets and went for breakfast at Old Town area. after breakfast, we went to Cameron straight.

reached Cameron at 12 noon. checked in Century Pines Resort at 1230 noon. they staff allowed us to check in because not many people were there. thank God. very quiet place and love the park opposite the hotel. They gave us the best view. to get cheaper rate, book from Agoda.com

after checking in and taking shower, we walked around Tanah Rata area to look for something to eat. We loved to walk around Cameron because of the weather which we don't have it in Taiping. We walked passed this restaurant, The Lord's cafe, next to Merry Brown. it looks quiet old, but the food, tasty and not expensive.

love the scones here and not to forget the Apple pie.. really delicious and it cost RM3.90 for one and the normal scone cost RM2.40 for one. we ordered the Strawberry scone, but not my cup of tea. perhaps for hubby yes.

we went for a walk in the evening. we went to this waterfall place which is between Brinchang and Tanah Rata area. not many people there except for some tourists like us.

we walked passed the gold area, church, and many places. we just loved walking at cameron. love the weather. while walking, we are Supering, one of my favourite, unhealthy snack which hubby only allow me to eat a packet in 2 weeks. he said, is not good for health.

at first we planned to take shower and refresh before dinner, but since it was going to rain, i said" why not we just go for dinner now"? is raining anyway. we went to this Bistro and had a nice dinner, my birthday dinner.

By the way, i bought these packets of tea from cameron. this is not Cameron products, they are from Sri lanka and better quality than Boh. 10 packets for Rm4.50. i bought 30 packets for myself and 10 packets for friends. i tried the Banana Tea at the hotel, nice, and i even can made 3 cups from a packet.

in the morning we went for breakfast at the hotel, less than 10 people there, they had Ala Carte that day instead of buffet. it was better..we can order anything, everything from the menu and better quality food.

we went to Ringlet after that. went to the tea area and took some photos.

we checked out at 1230 noon, almost 24 hours staying in the hotel. we went for lunch at the same cafe and drove to Ipoh straight. i took 4pm ETS train to KL after that.... ANd hubby drove my car back to Taiping. we had an enjoyable trip and also a memorable birthday celebration. next birthday, i want to come back again, for sure.. thank you dear....

Weekend Getaway

Im excited!!!! today will be my last day working, for this week.. taking off for 2 days...Going to Cameron tomorrow for 2 days.. we have booked a room at century pines resort, since this trip is to celebrate my birthday, we want something more cozy....yah, last year we went to Cameron too to celebrate my birthday.. i love Cameron..cool weather and relazing..Sungai Palas Boh Plantation is a place must go for me. i love the place and definitely will buy lots of tea from cameron..

after cameron, hubby will drive me to Ipoh, and im taking ETS train to KL..Rachel's wedding is this coming Saturday and thank God that worship practice starts at 6pm FGA KL. i hope i can make it coz i'm one of the singer too... my friends from sabah will be flying to KL this thursday. Can't wait to see them again, after the DEC camp in sabah.

My Beauty Products Purchase

Last Sunday as hubby and i went to Ipoh, i decided to buy some of my beauty products. i don't make up at all but this coming Saturday i'm attending rachel's wedding in KL and will be one of the singer as well, so i have to make up, though i dont really like it.. my last foundation from Body shop which i bought it 5 years ago, i dont think i can use it anymore. say bye bye to it last week. i checked internet to see what are the available products which are in middle range and not too expensive for me, i found this product from Loreal. Look very attractive. i went to Watson to test the foundation on my skin, ok N7, Amber nude is suitable for me. once i apply on my jaw line, i could not see the colour at all coz it was the same colour with my skin, yah i have darker skin tone, but im love my skin though. ask the sales girl, she said, out of stock for N7. oh my, not now...i went to other shop, Guardian to check out, and it was the last bottle. i asked them, why no stock, she said: fast selling for N7. so i bought it at RM47++....10% discount on that day. i swiped with my CIMB credit card, i got another 5% rebate...great deal.can't wait to use it this Saturday.

i bought this aloe vera gel as well. one of my skin consultant introduced this product to me when i was in Uni and had acne problems at that time. is cheap, RM5++ but you can use it for many things. Pimples, sun burn and ext. store in the refrigerator and apply it as a mask before washing your face. it helps to cool down the pimples. im using it every day now.

Langkawi Trip 11-13 March

let me update you one of my trip to Langkawi, Kedah on last week which i went with my friends. we have planned this for months, and finally...i drove them to kuala Perlis, we reached there at 5pm...is kinda late and got 7pm ticket to Langkawi, and it was the last ferry..hahahah...so lucky us. my friends took me to this laksa place where they said that is very famous in Kuala Perlis, Kak Su Laksa. they even have facebook.. The laksa is kinda different from our Penang Laksa. they kuah they used beras, or something, but i still prefer Penang laksa. no offense yah....a bowl does not come cheap. RM3.
while waiting for the ferry, we decided to check how much balance we have for the whole trip. next to me is my treasurer of the trip.

once we reached Langkawi, we rented a car and went straight to the apartment. nice, nice and we went for dinner. 4 dishes, 5 rice, 5 drinks cost us RM60, this is super duper cheap. the chef is from Thailand, i think most of them are Pattani. must try their cooking when you come to langkawi. they are everywhere in langkawi and perlis.

The next morning, we left the apartment quiet early and we started out journey along Langkawi. the first place we went to Pantai Rhu..man, like no one at all. there are all 5 stars hotels around and no one will come and disturb the place, so is nice to lepak around.

we left Langkawi at 930am on Sunday and drove straight to Wang Kelian (thailand), is about an hour drive from Kuala perlis. Man, look at the view along the way.. beautiful. once we entered the border, we were not required to show passport because on Sunday, Malaysian and Thai are allowed to cross the border without any document. i even drove my car in...hahahahha....

wang kelian is basically a place where Thai people will sell their good here with a very cheap price.. i bought a blanket there which cost me RM12.. you can get a set of comforter for RM26.. and lots of Zebra plates and cooking stuff..

Prep for Langkwi

ok..tomolo will be the last day before school holidays started...how excited when i think of it..9 days off....a week...that's the best part of being a teacher.. you get a lot of holidays in a year. tomolo planning to go langkawi with friends..we have planned this for 9 months or more and each time sure got something happened, so this time, we make it,.....we are leaving Taiping right after school since we finish work at 1215 noon on Friday, double bonus....im driving there, for this time....

this will be my first trip to Langkawi..yah, never been there before...dunno what to expect....buy perfume there??? well, let's see...but definitely no alcohol coz i dont drink...

we managed to book an apartment, 3 rooms, 2 nights for RM300/2 nights. cheap deal... one of my friend booked for us...you know, when u know people there, is kinda easier to get cheaper stuff... anyway, we will be there for 2 nights and will go perlis on sunday...never been to Perlis before too....wang kelian is the place we are going, coz on Sunday, they will open the border for Malaysian and Thai to cross over without passport..is a good deal...but only on Sunday yah....

lots of plans coming up, one of my friend leaving to Dublin this coming Saturday for 3 months and another gf of mine leaving to new Zealand on April for 9 months...well, let's hope to meet back during Yin's wedding lunch... im going to miss them, both of them....

free samples

how we girls love free samples from magazines and organizers...i love them so much and indeed i got a lot from the mag last year.. 2 bottles of Dove hair conditional...i started using it this week and wow, i did not know that it is so good...im not a fan of Dove shampoo but after using it for the first time, i love it and going to stock the conditional soon....

i bought my Bali tickets and going to be there for 5 days. hubby said that make it as our year end holidays together..our annual year end trip.. how i love it when he said that...

Love is in the air

what more can i say??? Love is in the air...Hubby just cooked me my favourite curry flavour maggi for dinner. Parents were away for 3 days and they just came back this evening when i was sleeping. Thanks dear. And i commented that every time when you cook, the food tasted nice and when i cook, i dont think is nice...he said " that is a dangerous statement".i was just kidding ok...

this Saturday and Sunday will be exciting days for me and the girls...we are going to hang out in taiping..can you imagine that??? they are actually coming back for the gathering...

as i was browsing through my album, i saw this photo which we took in 2009 at Kuala sepetang..well, sepetang is 30 minutes drive from taiping and is a fishing village and there are also good food and mangrove place for you to hang out... i kinda love the mangrove thingy.. we went for a boat ride at Sepetang.. is like a double date with another couple.what an amazing day...i was telling hubby that we did not go to Sepetang for a long time and perhaps we can go again this weekend or next weekend....i hope so...

anyway, today i had a great day at work..not so busy and we had a farewell party for a teacher who got her transfer to Manjung..lucky her...im hoping to get transfer back to LMS this year or next year..anyway, my work is good....im building a good relationship with my students...

Loving air Asia

do you know that Air Asia is having their low fair sales started yesterday for 1 million seats? yes, they are having the promotion now, and guess what??? i just bought 2 tickets to Bali this December..yah, there are still 10 months to go but you know, i bought 4 tickets last month from Air asia to vietnam and Kuching...and this time, hubby said, let's go Bali..he had been there for 3 times and i have never been there and December is the peak time and while checking the hotel from Agoda and Tune hotels in Kuta, there are kinda cheaper compare to KL..wow, let's go Bali this time....

im looking for cheap tickets to Miri this year..fish has been asking me to visit her so many times. the last time i visited her was when we finished our degree and i went to her place..she said, Miri changes a lot ready..come and check it out..well, i want too, but looking for cheap tickets lah...from there, we can travel to Brunei by car..only 2 hours drive..that's all...wonder why i did not go there 3 years ago... this year will be filled with holidays plan... is time to travel again since last year we did not go anywhere besides thailand...this year is an adventuring year for us....is time to check out the nature..no more shopping trip...

talking about shopping....sometimes, looking at the stuff that i bought, i just feel that is a waste of money especially clothes...my wardrobe is full with dresses, tops and pants and yet like not enough..but this time, im going to cut all...gave them away and buy less...i mean it ok...coz you know, someone is bzzzzz.....me for buying too many clothes...

im all exciting for this weekend coz my girlfriends are coming back to Taiping, and guess what?? we are going to have a picnic at the lake..just us..no bf and hubby..sorry guys...only us...we are looking for a quiet spot at the lake where is nearby the stream so that we can go mandi manda there..anyway, see u girls this weekend yah and drive safely..thats all.....

Listening to the Radio

all right, that's what i do every day to keep me awake as i drive to school/work...my, only the radio and the fresh air from outside..that's why i never switch on the air con in my car unless there are lorries in front of me... i want to enjoy the fresh morning air...fresh air for me before i start my work...anyway, im hoping to get my transfer to the new school which is only 15 minutes from my house..keeping my fingers cross now..im praying for that new school...

now im changing radio station from Mix to Hitz....cool, miz a bit bored for me now as they always do the classified stuff,...the first few times a bit interesting, but now, a bit boring leh...is not fun anymore..i used to listen to Light and easy a few years ago but i have stopped listening to it after mid of 2008....is time to do some changes here....

someone asked me this morning at school, "did you throw oranges last night?" i was like hah???? i thought that one for single ladies....if im going to throw that, i guess my hubby will not be happy at all leh..hehehhee..anyway, happy belated Chap Goh meh, though i did not do anything at all, besides taking tea and work..that's all,.,......

i love Friday...It means that tomorrow is holidays and i can rest.....

i was browsing through some photos recently..i miss my friends in UNI..our mission trip to Cambodia and Philippines...how i miss that time....anyway, we will be meeting up again next month on my bday for Rachel's wedding in KL..looking forwars to that trip and how i wish that hubby can accompany me there..just for a night will do.....

all right, finally i choosed or we choosed the fun valentiene as i mentioned in my last 2 blog. we agreed to have dinner in Ipoh, not confirm of the venue...first, a bit embarrassed, hubby supposed to fetch me at 7pm and straight to dinner.. i think he must be taking his shower at 6pm and get ready to close the shop by 630pm... unfortunately, haha....i took 2 panadols at 4pm coz i was not feeling well after school, and i took a nap. i thought of taking 1 hour nap, and when my phone rang, it was 650pm..oh my..i overslept on our valentine dinner date...i asked him what is the time, and he said, im coming now...what??? what is the time now??? is almost 7pm, hubby said..crap.....can u come at 715pm, i needed to wash my hair also then blow my hair....okok...hubby asked me to take my time and he will come at 715pm....malu betul ni...

we reached Ipoh at 815pm and still had not decided where to dine, and hubby suggested that we go and buy my gift first....and i bought a wallet/purse.... den we went to Greentown Business centre to look for food..i dunno why i suggested that place..i think God wanted us to dine at this special place....

we were passing Greentown to go Moven Peak, but half way, we saw this cafe. a mini bangalow where they turn to a cafe...Dear said, let's check it out..why not right??? very nice place to dine and lepak with friends...we will definitely come back here...

we were too hungry and the waitress said that we have to wait for 30 minutes for the food to arrive..so i decided to order hot chocolate first... The price, not expensive at all.. this hot chocolate cost me RM3.30 per cup...

the food arrived in less than 20 minutes....nice food...this meal cost me rm12.90

thank God that I brought my sweater along with the dress that i was wearing..it was freaking cold at Jusco and the cafe and i think is due to the cold season that we are having now...i kept on telling hubby, luckily i brought my sweater......me with no make up at all...

this morning as i was driving to school, ok i was late again...the cars in front of me were like crawling to Beruas...i could not wait, is almost 730am....i tried to rush to school while listening to Hitz FM, i just love the Gotcha Session with JJ and Ian...man, they really make me laugh all the way to school.anyway, i reached school at 735am this morning. i thought i was late, but anyway, they were still many cars in front and behind me...so i think is fine, for once in a while...

yesterday i had a wonderful resting day, maklumlah is public holiday..i read my novel "Who's That Girl" which i bought from Popular Fair in KL last year... not bad....

a person asked me once, why girls must have lots of shampoo and hair products in the bathroom? can't they just keep to one shampoo and one conditional only??? Well, girls are girls bah right??? we need to test a lot of products to make sure that it suits our hair..im currently using Sunsilk, which i bought from Thailand last year.. they have lots of cheaper hair products... I bought Pantene, Sunsilk, and Rejoice and not forget LUX body shower... we need them all...we want to smell nice right??? that's why lah....

anyway, will blog bot my Valentine's day Dinner with hubby at Ipoh...we had a great one and we found this new, or maybe is not new cafe (1 Place) at Greentown area...nice concept....love it and we will definitely come back again...

Valentine's Day is this coming Monday..how are you going to celebrate with your partner..yah, i know that for couples, everyday is like Valentine's Day for us, perhaps this time can do something special for your love one.. well, hubby asked me just now whether i wan to have a fun Valentine or a romantic Valentine. i asked him to define what do you mean by Fun Valentine??? He said is something like we go to other place, have dinner, walk around, choose my presents and watch movie before going back to Taiping....yeah, he asks me to choose my own present coz he kinda phobia to buy present for me or maybe he is afraid that i will not like it...the safest way is to let me choose my own...now im thinking what to buy..hhahahahha....

anyway, i said i want the Fun Valentine.. i dont like to be bored on Valentine's Day or any dates that we always do,having dinner, that's all....i want some fun in it and now is the time....my hubby is a fun man anyway, he is everything....and he is fine with anything as long as im happy with it...just a simple and nice man... i love that...

penang day trip

a week before CNY, hubby and i went to Penang for a day trip. we had fun though we only spent a few hours there.. this time we went to Air Itam for the laksa.. not nice at all...the last time i was here was 2 years ago and i remembered that how i loved the laksa so much..perhaps, is close to CNY and the food a bit tasteless... Is rm3 per bowl by the way. and the cendol and bobo cha cha, RM5....

next, we drove to Hard rock Hotel...the cheapest room is RM700 per night and the most expensive is RM4k per nite...perhaps can book for honey moon but not for us.. with rm4k we can tour to a few countries in South East Asia. love the decoration though...

we went to the beach for a walk and we sat down at one place to chit chat and watching people.... did you listen to the news this morning that a student actually hit by the jet ski in Batu feringgi....such a dangerous thing... they should not let the jet ski to go near where people are swimming... i was there and i think that it is very dangerous that's why we kept a distance from the beach...

CNY is coming and yet my work seem like never ending (at the moment). of course it will get lesser and better after CNY.. once i sent the students' data to government, i can rest for a few months to concentrate more in my teaching...

i need a holiday...need to do something else besides teaching and work.. yeah, im planning to go penang with hubby this Sunday after he finishes his work (close shop lah). i wanna go eat Ayer Itam's laksa and go Feringgi for a walk..i need that, need that....

chinese new year is like a week to go and how 's the preparation for your CNY...for me, i just bought a cheongsam from Penang for about rm120 after discount...great deal compared to Taiping, which they did not want to give any discount...sigh..anyway, if you want to buy cheong sam, penang is a good place....gurney has one shop selling but i went to Prangin to buy...

work is good...planning to stay in Taiping for good...bought a house here with hubby and wherever he goes, i go, that's the promise.....a woman is better off to stay with her man rather than staying somewhere else....students are great......i love them coz they make my job easier...

so, i can't wait for CNY... this year, im still getting my angpows, probably the last time??? we will see then...i love to receive leh,siapa tak mau kan???? i'm waiting for the girls' gathering together and with Form 6 friends as well...cheong sam reunion perhaps......

i hardly blog these days. guess too busy with work or i had something to do at home...well, in one week time, i bought 2 tickets to Saigon and Kuching which i'm so excited... i got it during Air Asia promotion this month, or this week....hubby and me are excited....never been to both places and want to check it out... Kuching is famous for their National Park and we are going there coz shopping in Kuching is just a waste of time.. well, we love nature....Bako National Park is cool and planning to stay there for a nite...and we will go back to Kuching again....

oh yah, last month, during christmas 12 of us (including hubby's family) went to Teluk Batik for holiday.. well, it was a last minute plan and we managed to book an apartment at Teluk batik...

my mom in law can really cook...look at the big crabs..she cooked and brought it all the way from Taiping....Love her...we had a great lunch and great fellowship with each other..12 of us packed in the apartment..3 rooms of course....

in the evening we spent time at swimming pool and the beach..not a nice beach but for gathering is good enough...

last sunday we visited Vincent and Shirley's house at Bukit Merah.. they had invited us there many times, and we went there... nice place, great house, warm love.

we had tea together. we bought nyonya food from taiping.... we were there for 3 hours plus..chit chat and fellowship...

checking out the garden......im busy nowadays, but i know that my business will soon be gone because im taking over someone work at school. well, she is on her maternity leave and will be back next month after CNY..i completed her work more than 50%, close to 90%.after that i will be free and have more time for my teaching...

Air Asia promo

Air Asia had their another round promo yesterday and i bought myself a ticket to ho chi minh, Vietnam this coming April during the Perak Sultan's birthday. of course i'm not going alone..going with hubby as well.. i have never been to Vietnam and indeed this will be my first time there. a friend of mine just came back from Ho chi Minh last December and she told me that we can use Ringgit Malaysia in Vietnam.. surprisingly..when i was in Cambodia, they did not even want to take our Ringgit..they kept on asking me for Dollars, Dollars only....sigh...

Yeah, now im checking out on Vietnam.. excited...and pray for good trip, good weather and protection...there are few places in Ho Chi Minh which i like, mostly nature places which need to take an hour ride from the city..i will be there for 4 days from day to night... Of course, if u ask around, people will say that Hanoi is a better place, i know too, but to travel to Sapa, which i really love it will take bot 12 hours train ride there and hubby does not have such a long holidays like me.. so, give and take.. we will go there one day when everything is settled....this coming year..

indeed, i did not do anything at all....Mom went to Thailand with her friends leaving me and dad at home. i watched TV the whole day till dinner time. i can just feel that when mom is not at hoe, the environment changes at home.... guess, i want my mom to be at home...minus that i can watch the tv whole day...

the whole week, i was so busy at work... Maklumlah, 1st week of school. lots of documents to do and lots of meeting to attend. this year i have all good classes and students are all ok....so i guess it wont be any problems for me to teach them...lots of preparation...lots of traveling but that is fine for me. i will get used to it....

CNY is less than one month away, this year we plan to wear Cheong Sam during our girls gathering. some of them have bought their cheong sam. i have one , which i bought for last year's CNY and probably will get a new one this year...Fen told me about this shop in Taiping where it sells cheong sam plus free alteration.. that is nice...will check out the shop before new year...How is your CNY preparation????

New Year New Work

Today is the 3rd day of my working day in the year 2011.wow, 1st and 2nd days were full with work.. school ended at 230pm followed by meetings till 430pm...gosh,i just can't imagine that, meeting for 2 hours after school... this year, work is coming to me. i can see that. well, i have to prepare more as this year is we are using the new literature for fORM 5. lots of things to read and prepare.

Hubby is very busy with his new shop and i can see that he is tired every day after work. well, is just for this month as lots of things to touch up for the new shop.Dear, take care. oh yah, i took hubby for facial last Sunday, and he said that, No more next time. he just hated it when they poke his face and he did not like it. well, i was enjoying my facial by my beautician ANN, my favourite one so far....Can see lot of changes after facial... well, i just need to buy masks as well. They say that Korea and Japan masks are the best so far for asian skin and i agree with that...coz im using it now....

Well, for this year Christmas, i spent 2 days with hubby's family including his bro, sis, niece and nephew and parents at Teluk Batik Marina Cove. we went there as a family and spent time together. i think there were 12 of us staying in 3 rooms apartment.. love the view. I love his mom's cooking....especially the crabs....wow, just love it..imagine she cooked from taiping and brought to Teluk Batik....

well i have to get back to work.. lots of documents to fill...

let me introduce this nice place at Bangsar for hi tea or when you are hanging out with friends.. i don't feel that this place is suitable for couple.. just my opinion. been there twice with my girl friends and i'm loving this place like Delicious at bangsar Village.

i love the concept in this cafe. price a bit high compare with Delicious, but for the concept and environment, is worth it for a try.. Chin and Pei took me there last year when we were shopping at bangsar.. This time, we( 6 of us) went there after a tiring day shopping around KL, to celebrate 3 girls' Bday... Yin, Yoke and Fen... Blessed Birthday to them.. and the next one will me my bday and pei's bday.

Yin, me and Yoke reached Bangsar first while the rest were looking for parking at Bangsar. All the public packing were full and we had to park inside bangsar Village which they charged us more than parking outside. we found a place inside bangsar Village and man, it was so difficult to find a place there..... we ordered our drink first while waiting for the rest to come.

the girls ordered 4 slices of cake and we shared among us. The cakes are really delicious. Love the cheese cake...super cheesy....

the 6 of us..we did not plan to wear the same blue that day..coincident only... as we were dressing up, we came out and saw everyone was wearing the same colour.. as we were walking around Bangsar, a few people were looking at us and said" They all wear blue colour"..hahahah...anyway, we just want to have some time with each other because we don't meet often and once in 3 months..only girls.. we make it as " only girls".. No bf, fiance and hubby..sorry guys..we wanna have some girls talk too....anyway, can't wait for our next year trip (haven't decided where to go) and CNY gathering.... Blessed Christmas Girls!!!!!

Christmas Tomorrow

time flies. is another year of christmas tomorrow. so, what are your plans for christmas this year? shopping? caroling? singing? well, none of those for me. this year did not join caroling, singing and shopping. a resting christmas for me. going for holiday instead. for the whole month i have been going here and there and doing too many things. is time for me to take some rest during this Christmas to relax my mind and prepare myself back to work in a week time. feel like doing nothing at all...

well, i just came back from my KL trip. meeting up with my girlfriends and doing shopping together was fun... been friends since 13 years old. we will make sure that we meet up every 3 months. this is our commitment.....most of them are married, but they still have time to hang out with us. this is a real commitment for them.... not to loose their friends.

this year, i'm going for holiday with my future in law and family. we have booked marina cove at Teluk Batik. Though Teluk Batik is really a dead place at night, the fellowship is more important for us...just hang around and get to know them more.

well, wish all my Christian friends a Blessed Christmas.. Christmas is not about exchanging gifts, partying, clubbing, christmas tree and santa clause, is about the birth of Christ..so, do not interpret it wrong. i have a friend that actually said, " Chinese celebrates CNY, Indian celebrates Deepavali and Malay celebrates Hari Raya but everyone celebrates Christmas". it must be the joke of the year for me. a lot of people celebrating Christmas without knowing why they celebrate it. Is like celebrating Christmas without inviting Jesus into their lives....So, know why you celebrate Christmas this year....

i was in Ums 4 years ago, and now i'm back to my uni again. this time i went to the other part of UNI. the under water UMS......Not that big but it was good enough for us to take photos before my flight. my flight was 2 hours away as i was still sitting here in UMS....ignore the date in the photo, the camera a bit sot sot ready...

we went to the island, yes we went, we had so much fun there... snookering, swimming and jumping...

been here for almost a week and i can say tat i enjoy every seconds here in sabah. had a great time at the camp and not to forget, gatherings, island and shopping in sabah. went to the island yesterday, man, so nice to be back to Manukan. but the island now is a bit dirty compared to those days.. wasted...they never take a good care of the island... is going to be like west malaysia soon...

we took lots of photos and can check out from my FB. friends have tagged me along in the photos...today is a public holiday, just want to spend some time at home first, maybe shopping at One Borneo later.. meeting up with my cousin also.....

reached Sabah safely..12 noon, om time... thanks to Air Asia... Fish's flight reschedule to 11pm tonight... they did not inform her that the flight actually reschedule..anyway, we will see each other tonight.. im at Cheo 's place...online of course, did not get enough rest yesterday coz i took YOYO from Taiping at 1am, then Ipoh 3am, and reached LCCT 630am... very fast...and now very tired. did not rest at all... hubby is now on the way from KL to Ipoh taking ETS train. he was too kind, sending me all the way to LCCT though he knows that he has to work... Ohh, love him so much...

cheo took me for lunch.. a place near, can't remember the name, nice old shop, nice food...too full now... neeed to work out later....

Packing for my trip

i'm going to sabah this wednesday..... 9 days trip...i packed my stuff today..since i did not pay for the baggage, i only have 7kg hand carrying..9 days for 7 kilos,not including whatever that i'm going to bring back from my trip. Air Asia really knows how to earn money. they are charging RM20 per bag if we booked online..i did not buy it and now i checked they are charging RM40 per bag at the counter... wat??? RM40??? that's a lot lah...

i packed whatever that is important...no shampoo, body shower, and all the liquid stuff..i pack all in small bottles not over 100ml for all..so you can imagine that. i plan to buy the liquid stuff when i touch down in KK... so we have no plans yet what to do in KK besides going to the camp....i just want a free and easy trip this time..no hassle.

clothes, pants, swimming suit, dress (going to be a prom nite in the camp), like we are 18 years old now..hehehhe...sun block (important), no net book, shawl and shoes shoes shoes.....

How do you spend your every Sunday???

Sleep? Date? Watch Movies, tv? Church? or makan and makan???

Well, i guess different people do different things on Sunday. I love weekend especially Sunday, because that will be the only day hubby finishes work early and can spend time with me or go somewhere for a day trip. He works every day and we have limited time to be with each other..

Well, this sunday we had lunch at my MIL (Mom in law)'s house and we went to giant together. i got the shelve i wanted to put in my room and also Yogurt....i love yogurt now...really nice especially Strawberry flavour. dear got the mat for his car.

i'm testing the web camera in my new netbook, not bad quality and i got hubby to test it together with me. looks like i forced him to take with me, anyway, he is just too sweet....is too girlie stuff for him.....

Yogurt

yogurt...not my favourite since young. i just dont like the sour taste though is good for health. hubby loves it so much. we bought two bottles of yogurt from giant yesterday and we tasted it today and yesterday. as we were watching the Asean Games closing ceremony just now, i suggested to hubby to eat the yogurt which we bought yesterday. i went to take out from the fridge. we ate, sharing one cup of yogurt, and i ate slowly why dear ate a big spoon of yogurt...hahaha..he just loved yogurt...well, now i'm starting to love eating yogurt, maybe i should buy more and eat more during school holidays. is a good and healthy food...

so, do you like yogurt??????

i'm starting to love my new netbook happy one. though for the first week i did not like it because it is too small for me and the screen is too small and i can't watch movie with my netbook. after using it for a week now, i'm starting to love it. small and cute and is easy for me to carry around, talk about weight..lighter is better. i can online on my bed, in the car and while waiting for someone. is just so convenient for me. why i did not think of buying one 2 years ago??? that time it was way too expensive for me to own it.

one week holiday has passed. so fast. i have been doing my studies, and also reading books and magazines... Last Wednesday i went to Ipoh with hubby. he came to Beruas and we went to Sri Iskandar to disconnect the electricity in my apartment. we drove for about 30 minutes to reach from Beruas. once we reached, it took me less than 5 minutes to complete everything...i was like, what 5 minutes and i have to drive all the way here. and for your info, Sri Iskandar is in the middle of perak, if u know where it is. no highway, just like Beruas.

my Reader's Digest just arrived. i have not read the front page but i read the last page which caught my attention as i opened it. touching story about a couple in Samoa. u should read it if you have one.

today another exciting news or decision... gathering in Dec is on. 5or more have confirmed and yoke is going to fly to KL from Penang again. that Lucky girl gets to fly so often. i wish that they will have an airport in taiping and i can fly too.... we have no plans yet what to do in DEC..u know, when we plan, it will not go with the plans. this time, we keep it low profile.. we will do whatever we want to do when we are there. that is easier.

few more days i will be flying again. to my ex second home, sabah. going to meet the rest and i will be away for 9 days. definitely will not bring my Happy One along with me. adding extra weight and i want to try bring less stuffs there. Dear is not going with me to Sabah due to something. till then, cheers...

school is finally over and i'm on my holiday now. farewell to min min, she got transfer after 4 years in Beruas. sob, sob, we will miss u here. we will miss your jokes. min min used to sit behind me in the staff room. she is a PE teacher. very active.

we took a photo together as a memory. how i miss school now. what a joke.... i went back to school yesterday.

after school, dear took a bus from Taiping to Beruas to help me carry some heavy stuff from my apartment down to my car. how thoughtful of him. he reached at 1pm and we carried all the stuff together-gather...very tiring day as well. and now this is my home after clearing all the things. the sofas are not mine. they belong to the government. like i say, my apartment is fully furnish, so i cannot take the things with me. a big farewell to my apartment of 2 years which i hardly stayed. i'm moving back to Taiping, that's the fact and i love it though i have to travel every day. no regrets...

we had lunch at Beruas..nasi goreng..yummy...cost us Rm4 per plate. ain't cheap lah... Anyway, is nice... and tomorrow will be one week since holiday started, how fast, and i'm counting the days to Sabah. dear has been telling me that he is going to miss me when i'm away for 9 days...9 days will pass very fast dear. do not worry... Working Day

after all, tomorrow will be the last day of my working day for the year 2010. i'm all excited... really excited.... how i just love holidays. Need time to reset my mind, replan my work and also do some reading during school holidays as i will be teaching in different form next year. 2 English teachers in my school are going to transfer, that means that, we have not enough 2 Eng teachers next year. anyone wants to teach here??? we sure, definitely welcome you, very very much. my head is scretching her head now, who to teach this class, and who to teach the other classes. we have to recruit other non option eng teacher to teach english as well... that is a big head ache now because most of them do not want to teach eng. sigh!!!!

i have done most of my work. need to submit all by tomorrow, as well as the last day of my moving day. i ain't coming back to pack my stuff anymore after tomorrow. dear will take a bus from Taiping to come here and help me to carry the heavy stuff into the car before we drive back to Taiping. i threw most of my stuff in Taiping. what a waste...but we can't have everything that we want. after all our new house is still on the way and my parents house has limited space for me. mom reaction was " still got ah"??? she hopes that i will throw most of my stuff...

Market

is holiday today and my alarm woke me up at 730am.dear was not with me this morning. i'm going to the morning market now....never been there for so long. always buy stuff from Giant and Tesco....attire to go market is, wear short pants..no jeans...freaking dirty lah...

i was there....lots of people....went to the pork section first...crap, i wanna puke ready...then, went to the fish balls section and vege section..after all, i wanna come out from the market asap... i just have to imagine that once i marry next year, i have to go to market more often and cook for hubby. he wants home cook meals, that's all...

i still have 2 working days. after that i'm off for good for 7 weeks. i have lots of plans ahead of these 7 weeks. lots of trips and lots of visitation and programme. plan to go for christmas shopping and cny shopping in dec...well, girls are going to have another gathering in this coming december. i can't wait for it. it just feel so nice when i'm thinking of the gathering.

work is good and now lots of files to close and reports to submit. i thank God that JPN did not approve my school to ask for extra Haji holiday on Thursday. we need to clear our work, more holidays mean we need to come back to school during school holidays. no way!!!! and i have almost done moving stuff back to Taiping. i did it all by myself...

Dear was away. i'm with friends today. Koo and eve came down to Taiping after school and we went shopping and tea at Taiping Central. i bought a dress anyway. told hubby on the phone about the dress and he was ............heheheh.....i think he just want me to stop buying clothes until i finish wearing them.what, is just a dress mah. really cute dress...

i went to collect my new netbook right after that. it was raining...anyway, i love my new netbook and is purple in colour.i like purple. cost me 1229.....not expensive...lots of free gifts...on the way transferring the photos and files from old to new netbook. and hubby can have my notebook by tomorrow when he comes back..

so what am i going to do tomorrow since is a public holiday??? going to the market in the morning. having steamboat at night...hope to get a really cheap one...

about my house, i have moved most of my stuff today. did it alone and really glad that m0st of it done and the documents have settled. how good it is to be back to my own home after all. home is the best place for me.no where else..

Counting the days

I'm counting the days to Sabah, my ex second home..i was there for 4 years, stayed in Kota Kinabalu, met beautiful sabahan, completed my degree, rededicated my life to Jesus, became a shopping queen once (now not anymore:) gotta think wise) and island island and island.

today is 14 nov, which mean that 16 days more before my 9 days trip to SAbah. ain't it nice. i miss Sabah. the last time i was there was 2 years ago...my convocation. i have plans for this coming trip.lots of plans with my friends in Sabah. we are having a camp for 3 days at Kinarut and we have planned to go shopping and island hopping and hopefully Kudat as well. we have to travel as much as we can. that's all.

remember my roomate and coursemate for 4 years, Fish, she will be there too. we have planned to meet up and booked our flights on the same day to reach Sabah. we are going to be the early birth to reach sabah before the rest.we are teachers and we are on our holidays what!!! they rest need to work. wanna change job?????hahaha...

this trip i'm going to travel light. one baggage and no check in baggage. i want to save the RM20 which Air Asia is charging the passenger for one checked in baggage. i did not know this fees until i booked the flights 2 months ago..wakakaka.....

new Saturday

hello everyone. is a good saturday morning. i woke up and straight to my laptop. my new netbook is on the way. they got the colour that i wanted, just need to recollect again on Monday. At last i bought the new acer happy one purple colour netbook.really happy one. just need to change my laptop. my old laptop will meet his new owner soon, really soon.

i still have 4 more days of work before my 7 weeks holidays until next year. wow, 4 days and i have a lot of work to do because every file has to be closed and all reports have to submit and all the results have to key in and lots lots of work, but of course i have finished more than half. i'm on my way doing my assignment for the 3 days course in Pangkor. and will be away to sabah for 9 days. so i better finish up my work now. doing the assignments feel like going back to uni time, where i searched all the info from journals, books, internet and then read one by one and type the assigment. what a work for me... someone in the the school actually asked me if i want to continue my Master....ohhh, no thanks... i think degree is fine for me at the moment. give me some time to rest. i will only do my Master if i really need to, if not, relax lah.. education is not everything lah...

so how are your week days been going??? i hope that it will be the best one. i'm on the way moving my stuff back to Taiping from Beruas. you know, i'm already moving back...so many things.but everyday after school i will go back and pack my stuff. so lama-lama jadi bukit....and is very tiring to carry all the clothes and books and stuff from 3rd floor to ground floor.

without my car

as you know, in my last post, my car was knocked down by someone and now left without a car with me. my grandparents were so generous that the agreed to borrow me their wira until my car is back. how generous of them, but of course i give them back on weekend. and now left without a car. it was so troublesome without a car here. can't go anywhere, have to depend on people to send me, and even today i have to call someone to send me to church.

today will be the last day of my holiday. actually this week i worked one day only. minus the Tuesday, i took emergency leave.. And 2 more weeks i will be off for 7 weeks. and lots of plans for the holidays with dear and the girls.

Knocked me

As i was driving to work this morning, still in Taiping, a Kancil knocked me at the back of my car. ouch!!!! but luckily nothing happened to me and hubby. we were both in the car. I got a shocked, of course, but it was just a while. and we were so calmed. we went down to check on the other can, they were fine but the car, not so fine. really bad, but my car, only the bumper 20% bad. it was 620am. it was still dark, i decided to switch on the radio and air cond in the car while waiting for the police to come. you gotta make report to claim insurance.waited and waited, he did not turn out. so this time i called, and i made my sad sad voice, asking them to come as soon as possible.."boleh datang cepat sikit, saya sudah pening-pening" and the other line said" OKOK, u tarak apa??? saya akan suruh dia datang cepat cepat sekarang".

the makcik was driving the car, we did not speed, 40KM/h, and yet she can knocked my car. that's the best part. but God was with us.,His protection, nothing happened to all of us, that's the most important thing. waited for an hour, and one man said, the sarjan asked you go to station straight...aiyo, why not you told us earlier.

a man came to my car and said to hubby, "Huah, Saga Kuat ah"....coz he saw the kancil so bad and my car like nothing. hahaha...anyway, we sent to Eon and they will repair for us once we settle the documents. and the car is under my dad's name, and they were away...

So, that's the story of my accident..i will be off till Monday. And going to Hospital to check my body tomorrow...just to be on the safe side.

Hubby 34th Big Day

Hubby's bday was 2 weeks ago,(16 Oct) and i asked him what he wants for his bday cake..he said, my only favourite cheese cake. since is not easy to get Cheese cake from Taiping, i decided to buy some from Secret Recipe. I got the idea of buying 6 different types of cheese cake instead of one piece of cake. dear was ok....so i took him there on his birthday after my work and he choosed all his favourite cheese cakes..My favourite is the banana cheese cake but on that day it was all sold out..sigh!!!
